Dec 18, 2015 · Have a Knight with a slotted breech plug and no Combination tool. The nipple is for #11 percussion cap and is not hex, it has 2 flat sides. I removed the breech plug with a drift punch and careful taps. The slots are in good condition. I did not try to remove the nipple because the nipple and plug looks like it might be one piece.

Needless to say, getting the original plug out was a long, white knuckled affair but it finally came out... in 3 large pieces. Its an awesome setup. I would suggest loose powder, and a good cap. I like RWS 1075 but they seem to not be around much lately. I also use CCI mag, which Wally World usually has in my area.
