At least in survival evolved you were able to change the tether length, only ever being teleported when host went into a cave. But now even if you change it, the distance will always be 180 meters.

You need to adjust the distance of the Tether, it is not possible that it is only 180m from the non-dedicated server host, solve this problem.Just most people today wouldn't notice it because most people's PCs are more than able to handle ARK SE with Tether Distance set to say 99 without too many issues.
